The Peplum Top

Top, Sandals, Lipstick (shade Confession) - Topshop, Trousers (too big for me!!) - H&M

Aren't peplums just perfect?  I don't think I would say they're just perfect for summer because I can see them being transferred over into a/w this year because they're so perfect.  They're the kind of shape that suits everyone (comment below if I'm wrong!); if you're big then they'll sinch in your waist and if you're tiny they'll give you curves.  They're so flattering and versatile to wear as well.  Perfect with tapered trousers, high waisted leggings if you're the bare all type, shorts, bodycon skirt!  The ideas are endless.  I really think they're an effortless piece that can just look so tailored and well put together, definitely a favourite of mine for this summer...You can be sure to be seeing it a lot in the future!

My fringe has now been cut in and I really prefer my hair like this!  It looks a lot better when it's down as well which is good, I'm pretty fed up of putting it up everyday now.  Urm what else is there...I have work experience at John Lewis on Monday for 2 weeks and I'm actually looking forward to it!  I think it's a really good opportunity for me and it will hopefully give me some really good experience of understanding what goes into retail which is what is pretty key to my entire goal career!

I just want to add to anyone that knows me and is in year 11/has just left, you all looked gorgeous at prom!  For all readers who don't know my in real life, I went to the year 11's prom to see my boyfriend and friends and just everyone really!  Was so so curious to see everyone's dresses and I was suprised by how many people looked gorgeous!  Even some of the people I expected to be wearing a dress I would not like (puffy dresses!) were wearing beautiful ones! I was so suprised that there were only the one or two people that went over the top with their dresses and looked not to my taste, but each to their own and they still looked beautiful.  All the guys looked very suave and handsome too, especially my Lewis!  Very proud girlfriend right here!

Have a great weekend everyone!

College Taster Day

Shirt, Socks, Shoes, Bag, Cuff - Topshop, Skirt - H&M, T-Shirt - Urban Outfitters, Belt, watch, head scarf- vintage, Rings L-R - Turkey & mum's, Barry M - Nail Polish

Hello my beautiful readers! Today I went to a 'college taster day' which basically means I got to choose a college and see what courses they do; pick 2 courses we wanted to know more about and be able to see a little bit about what you do during that course.  So I have explained it all in my video that is just uploading so I'll link it here when it's up!

I did fashion in the morning and this afternoon I did art & design.  But I always feel like I bore you guys when I talk about school/education!  So let's talk about clothes!  I decided to wear this outfit because I wanted to be comfortable and still look good without being too hot or cold.  I had my denim jacket in my bag as well but I didn't really need it as it was pretty warm which is nice.  I love this top; there are so many different ways to wear it! With denim short it looks like a 'throw on' outfit yet still looks cool, with jeans it looks effortless and depending what colour/style jeans you can completely mix it up!  On the other hand, it just look so cool with skater skirts in my opinion.  I think it looks like you've put effort in without getting dressed up or going OTT, it just looks good I think!  I also really think the nail polish makes it pop.

It was a crazy coincidence that Sasha was going to the same college as me as she goes to a different school, but we've been friends since we were really little so it was super cool to find out she was going on the same trip as me!  I always love how Sasha dressed, it's always very well put together and just lovely.  I also found out she is very interested in going into fashion journalism and so we both are wanted to study similar things (despite me not wanting to go into journalism, I will hopefully be taking english) which is just so so great!

everything Sasha's wearing is listed in the video

have a good day everyone!

June Inspiration

I don't have any links to any of these images I apologise.  I don't claim to own any; if any are yours feel free to comment or email me and I will take action.  They are all from blogs and tumblr.

When I get my fringe cut back in it will hopefully be like this!

oh my good god, HOW CUTE IS THIS?

wishing I was at IOW right now

Just sat in my room all night revising for my last exam monday thank god!  Incase any of you know (I can't remember if I wrote about it or not) but I applied to be a prefect at my school and got it! Yay, I am now an official prefect woo.  Go me!  I've been super busy with revision and school stuff this week so please excuse my slight absence but I should have an outfit picture up tomorrow as I'm out for a friends birthday.
Hope you have a good evening and enjoy the pictures!

Camo

(Dress: Urban Outfitters, Jacket: Boyfriend's, Boots: New Look, Belt: vintage, Bracelet: Topshop, Ring: ?, Necklace: Dorothy Perkins, Lipstick: Topshop in shade Confession)

It's father's day! wooo hooo!  What have you beauties treated your daddy's/step daddy's/guardians/who ever to?!  I wrote mine a lovely little message in his card and made some pretty little tea cups (he has a weird thing for teacups, I don't even know!)  And I showed him some funny old pictures of us as well as buying him Anchorman as none of my family have seen it and my dad loves films like that!  What do you guys think of Anchorman?  Appropriate for me to watch with parents...?

After dad's have had their (well deserved) moment of attention; it's time to talk about my camo army jacket! After telling my boyfriend about how fashionable camo jackets were he eventually gave in and gave me his jacket rather objectively.  Muhahaha!  He never wears it anyway, so it's now in better hands!  Can't believe he got it for £4 as well... Bargain.  Although if you do like them; Topshop & Urban Outfitter's do very similar ones - they are probably more fitted and better shaped for woman as well so probably worth the investment.  Although I can't say I could have bought myself to spend £50 on one!

I forgot how much I love this dress!  I just think it's so so flattering and it hits in all the right places.  I love it!  The back just makes it perfect! Omg I love it! Worth every penny.

So my exams went okay I hope.  I had maths on Monday and Chemistry Friday.  I've got physics on Wednesday too :( thank god I did Biology back in January! Don't think I could've dealt with all three within such a short time.  I've also got mocks all week (except Thursday, yay!) but they haven't got me worried as they don't really count towards anything.  I'm also really annoyed as I found out the other day that I have to retake one of the big 30% controlled assessments I did in English.  Apparently everyone has to, but most people did well so it's stupid!  I got an A* in that controlled Assessment, why should I retake? 27/30!! Ugh so annoying! Ah, sorry about the boring school related rant, I know no one cares but ugh I need to express my frustration!

Also, I'm uploading this to Lookbook.nu!  So head over there to hype/fan me if you feel like!  I would love it if you could.  Also a corresponding video is just uploading.  Have a lovely father's day everyone!

Primark A/W 12

Hello guys!  I've got my big chemistry exam out of the way now, phew!  I've got exam every day next week except Thursday :-(  Only two that I need to prepare for though, which is good.  Anyway, I won't bore you with that!  Guess what I've just seen?  It made me very excited...

Some of you may have already seen but Look Magazine have just released an exclusive viewing of some of Primark's new range for A/W 12.  I've saved my favourite pieces so that you guys can see what I loved and so you can wish the summer away with me...Opps!  It makes me super happy that some of these pieces are already on sale so if you're feeling a head of schedule you can go pick some up and be dressed perfectly in some of the chillier weather that we're experiencing!  These were some of my favourite looks

Love the court shoes, I've been dying to get some.  Primark's the place!  I'm really liking the whole turtle-neck under a jumper thing too  I think it looks such 'thrown on' chic.

THIS!  This is maybe my favourite.  I LOVE the slouchy 'I just threw this on' look.  It just looks so gorgeous, but so relaxed and beautiful.  Although you've probably got to have the right figure for this kind of outfit or it may look unflattering... Let's get back to the gym, 'eh!  Oh, and the bag!  This is what originally appealed me to this look..oh the bag!

I love that mixing prints and just prints in general are staying with us the A/W.  That makes me happy!  Nothing makes a cold rainy winter day better than some clashing print!

THE BAG.

Okay, I love this outfit too.  This is my second favourite...  I really like the more androgynous look in this one, the glittery bottoms with that jacket.  Ugh I need that jacket in my life...and the shoes...oh the shoes.

The blazer is what made me love this look so much.  I love broken up/trimmed blazers!  They make me happy just to look at them.

Prints and studs prints and studs prints and studs (life = made)

I lurve these trousers.  And the slouchy V-neck jumper. End.

I'll admit I'm not quite so keen on this one, I just really like the trousers!

These were my favourite pieces that have been previewed

I think my favourite things are the jackets, blazers and coats!  Lovely!  I definitely need that leather sleeved green coat in my life.  Or the leather trimmed big cream coat/blazer.  I also would love to have a pretty pair of leather gloves this year because they'll last me a few years, will look gorgeous and they'll just be so much more sophisticated and fashionable than woolly gloves.  I'm just not feeling woolly gloves this year!  Glad I've got a few months to wait (hopefully).  The high top wedge trainers are also blissful to look at!  But I prefer the pair in one of the looks above; I hope that pair get released because I prefer those by 1000!  Despite these brilliant pieces, I don't love everything that's been previewed but then if that happened it would be too good to be true!

I'll admit to you guys that Primark isn't my favourite shop and due to being so cheap the quality of the things in there can often be fairly poor and not strong clothing/shoes/accessories.  But the designs of these pieces of clothing are beautiful and I'm really looking forward to opening up myself to lots more shops for bigger purchases.  By that I mean I may start buying more things from Primark than I would now, as currently I only tend to buy one thing from Primark every so often because nothing really draws my attention.  All the images above and in the looks I think all the clothes look well made which is all I'm after.  This will also be a good thing for me because it means I won't be spending 100's of pounds in Topshop on maybe 3 things and spending the same amount on some equally beautiful pieces from Primark.  But that said I'm not going to opt for Primark just because it's cheaper.  If there's something gorgeous in Topshop or somewhere of the like I'll buy it.

Hope you all have a good Friday x
